Venom and Song

Venom and Song

The Berinfell Prophecies Series

Book Two

By Wayne Thomas Batson and Christopher Hopper

I have not read the first book in the series. The book starts off with a listing of the principal cast as well as a description of each character and type of creature. Next is a list of the principal locations in the book with a description of each. This book also includes bonus content via the series website, www.heedtheprophecies.com. There is a symbol that is used throughout the book to denote bonus content.

The story is well written. It involves seven teenagers who are trapped in magical world called Allyra. They are faced with a mystery they must solve in order to save the Elven race that is guiding them through their journey. They also encounter magical creatures that they have to battle. All this leads up to a battle with the Spider King.

Gavin Loved this DVD

Read and Share:
The Jesus Series, Life and Miracles

This half-hour DVD shares the ministry of Jesus with children in a way that is easy for them to understand. My five year old son really enjoyed this video. Although it did not keep his attention as well as some videos he has seen, it kept his attention as well as can be expected for a five year old boy.

I was very impressed with all the events included in this video. The only thing I thought would be better is if it had included Jesus’s birth and death. I realize that there is another video that addresses those parts of his life, however, I think that combining the two videos into one would make for a very complete and concise look at the life of Jesus Christ.
