A wonderful book

God’s Promises for Boys
By Jack Countryman and Amy Parker

God’s Promises for Boys by Jack Countryman and Amy Parker teaches boys about the usefulness of Scripture in everyday life. Each two page spread illustrates a promise made to man by God. There is a short poem about that promise and then three to four bible verses that support that promise made by God. In total, there are 60 promises addressed in the book.

I really enjoyed this book. The illustrations are adorable and my son really enjoyed reading the book. I also think that this will be a good book to refer back to when we need to address issues in his life. I think this would make a wonderful gift for any young boy. There is also a companion book entitled, God’s Promises for Girls. Although I have not seen this book, I think that it would be just as good as the one for boys.
